It’s a very easy stitch to learn as it’s made up of cluster of single crochet.

Stitches used are…
Ch(s) = Chain(s)
Sc = Single crochet
Sc3tog = Single crochet 3 together (see explanation below)
St(s): stitch(es)
Sp(s): space(s)
How to make a Sc3tog: Insert hook into stitch… yarn over and pull up a loop (2 Sts on hook) … Insert hook into the next St… yarn over and pull up a loop (3 Sts on hook)… Insert hook into the next St… yarn over and pull up a loop (4 Sts on hook) … yarn over and pull through all 4 loops on hook.
To Start... Ch in multiples of 2… I chained 20 for this tutorial
Row 1… Sc in the 2nd Ch from the hook. Sc3tog starting in the same Ch you’ve just worked the Sc in and then the next 2 Chs. Ch1 * Sc3tog starting in the same Ch as the last St finished and continuing it in the next 2 Chs, Ch1 * …. Repeat * – – * to last Ch… After the last Sc3tog which ends in the last Ch you then Sc in the same Ch … Ch1 and turn your work
Row 2: Sc in the first St,… Sc3tog starting in same St as previous Sc and then continuing in the Ch space from the previous row and the next St (which is the top of the Sc3tog from the previous row) .. Ch 1 … * Sc3tog starting in the same St as the last St finished and continuing it in the next 2 Sts, Ch1 * Repeat * – – * to last Ch… After the last Sc3tog which ends in the last Ch you then Sc in the same Ch … Ch1 and turn your work
Repeat row 2 until piece is desired size.
